A day of rest (for me)

While some took themselves off for short runs in the area, others took the chance of having a quiet day off to wander in the sunshine and take in the local scenery, ride the chairlift to the viewpoint above the town and generally be a bit lazy.
Suffering from various aches and pains, our host suggested that we try a Thai massage at a local parlour,  had ninety minutes of stretching, manipulation, followed by hot oils and stones,  superb, well worth the visit and compared  to similar treatments at home, very inexpensive

Tonight our host prepared a BBQ dinner for us, washed down with a couple of beers, very nice, just to sit and relax in the garden.  Received promises from Greg and a couple of his friends who are regulars in Edinburgh that they will pop in to see me at the Mercat Grill.

Time afterwards for a walk along the riverbank and through a local park which was lovely, even discovered that there was mining here some years ago and you can still go and visit the mine and also the nearby mining museum.

Tomorrow, a long day in the saddle as we head south est to Munich
