Another day into Tom and Dougz big adventure

Up with the larks this morning, despite there being no need, had a breakfast and slowly in three groups we headed off from Bad Lauderberg.  One couple had a bit of a moment when they forgot which side of the road they were on - oops.    Even their sat nav ended up sending them an extra 20 miles.

Must say that the Autobahn was superb,  ideal for us to get from A to B, however, for a motorist it must be soul destroying to know that you have four hundred miles plus of roads at high speed.  We were happy at our average of about 70mph, and even with four stops of varying times we still took eight hours overall to cover the 360 miles.   For me, it was treat today, having moved my air cushion I had a comfy ride and no sore bum.
Weather was really good for the first 300 miles then we ran into some seriously heavy rain, so managed to get a bit of a soaking.  Traffic on the motorway slows down (by law) so it was not as crazy as earlier I the trip when we had cars passing us in excess of 100mph.

Had our dinner, a beer, and now (9.45pm) ready for bed.
Thomas and Iain have done a rejig of tomorrow's route to give us a more scenic route as we have time to spare and a shorter distance, before the Party begins tomorrow night.
